You are wrong. You talk abou the default search plugin. This is - when you enter something in the addressbat it uses Google. What I was talking about was the start page.
And OTOH - Foresight changes A LOT of defaults - something being a default is not an argument agains a change. I would suggest creating a static page with some useful information for the start page, including a google search box. Maybe a link to our news letter, link to launch the user guide... whatever.
We should also create some default smart bookmarks for google and rbuilder searches. Kevin, please find a volunteer on the marketing team to create a static html page we can use for the default homepage in epiphany and firefox.
Perhaps a first launch search engine choice page?
