Environment: Windows XP running VM Server latest version. Trying to install Foresight Gnome Light 2.1.1 iso

 Description  « Hide
After installing Foresight Gnome Light and rebooting, I get the message that the OS can't find the HD. The text is:

nash version 6.0.52 starting
Unable to access resume device (/dev/sda3)
mount: could not find filesystem '/dev/root'
setuproot: moving /dev failed: No such file or directory

etc.

I saw this same problem with the latest rpath OS and they fixed this after I reported the bug, you may want to consult the rpath guys for the solution. Thanks very much.

I tried the workaround mentioned in https://issues.foresightlinux.org/browse/FL-1542 but after I ran mkinitrd I got: "No module ehci-hcd found for kernel"

Since I planned on doing an updateall anyway, I did the following to update the packages:

(Press F2 at vmware bios and change the cdrom to boot first)
boot: linux rescue
(make sure to select yes to enable the network)
chroot /mnt/sysimage
conary updateall
(takes awhile...)

Now it boots up fine.
