I have the same trouble with my intel-hda (no audio) (STAC92xx) Dell Latitude D820

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)
Subsystem: Dell Unknown device 01cc
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 21
Memory at efebc000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: <access denied>

I get no errors from any application and unmuted all channels.

I just found this error is related to pulse audio, speaker-test -D front -c2 gives me pink noise

If this is still an issue with current foresight linux, I ask that you link this up to FL-1931 so that we can ascertain how deep this rabbit hole actually is.
