I think this HAS to work. But still does not!
I did some investigation and it seems we work with hal. I did add some things from this:
http://gphoto.sourceforge.net/doc/manual/permissions-usb.html Its solved for me with
udev=/conary.rpath.com@rpl:devel//foresight.rpath.org@fl:1-devel/106-0.1-1 I think this is solved. This was unscheduled and I think we should move on and file new bugs if it still exists to a specified release.
This was reintroduced by some changes, recently.
Please try hal from 1-devel.
This is solved for me with:
hal=/foresight.rpath.org@fl:1-devel/0.5.9-9-1 dbus=/foresight.rpath.org@fl:1-devel//1/1.0.2-1-4 gphoto-suite=/foresight.rpath.org@fl:1-devel/2.3.1-3-3 Still doesn't work with my Canon Powershot A60.
F-Spot reports an "unknown error", console output: %lsusb I made it work now.
I tested gphoto2 on the commandline. "gphoto2 --get-file 1" reports "error 114: Error in communication with camera" "gphoto2 --get-file 1 --debug" gives a huge output and an image from the camera. After that, f-spot is able to import photos. I have to repeat the last step everytime i connect the camera. gphoto2's debug-logfile is attached. |
